How do the analyses work, and what happens to your data?
Dynova Nutrition analyzes your genetic result, and Dynova Beauty analyzes a photo of your face. Both are special-category personal data. Below, we explain in plain language what happens at each step.
Dynova Nutrition: your genetic result

Your explicit consent comes first
Genetic data is special-category personal data. Before you upload your file, we ask for your explicit consent for this purpose only. If you don't give it, nothing is processed.

Your file is uploaded to a secure area
Your genetic test result is uploaded to storage through a single-use link that only you can access. The file name is removed too.

A pseudonymous ID is sent, not your name
Your name, email and phone number are not sent to the analysis service. Your file is sent with a pseudonymous ID that is derived from you and can't be reversed. The record of who each pseudonymous ID belongs to is kept in a separate, closed table.

Your genetic data is interpreted with rules
Your result is interpreted with rules based on scientific sources and matched with Dynova products. No outside AI service, such as ChatGPT, sees your genetic data.

The raw file is deleted
As soon as the raw file reaches the analysis service, it is deleted from storage. Your results stay in your account, and only you can see them.

Your explicit consent comes first
A photo of your face is special-category personal data too. Before the analysis, we ask for your explicit consent for this purpose only.

The quality check runs on your phone
Light, sharpness and angle are checked on your device. Frames that don't pass never leave your device.

Sent with a pseudonymous ID
Your photo is sent to the skin analysis service with a pseudonymous ID, without your name or email.

No face recognition
The analysis doesn't identify who is in the photo. It only measures how your skin looks across 11 areas. No outside AI service sees your photo.

By default, only skin crops are kept
For before-and-after comparisons, you can separately choose to keep the full face image. If you do, it's stored encrypted, kept for up to 24 months, and you can delete it at any time.
Where is it processed?
Your data is processed and stored on servers in Germany (Frankfurt). This counts as a transfer outside Turkey; the details are in the KVKK Privacy Notice.
Who can see it?
Your results are in your account and open only when you sign in. If you book the expert consultation, you go through your report with the expert during the call.
What if you withdraw your consent?
You can withdraw it from your account at any time. If you withdraw your genetic consent, your genetic data and Nutrition results are permanently deleted. If you withdraw your biometric consent, your skin analyses and photo crops are permanently deleted.
